A visit to the Eastern Yacht Club is a walk through yachting history.

The founding members' purpose was the promotion of yachting, and this remains so today. For more than 150 years, the Eastern Yacht Club’s storied legacy and leadership has remained committed to providing its members with opportunities to participate, as in the Club’s motto, Aurae Vela Vocant - the Winds Call to the Sails.

The Clubhouse overlooks Marblehead's historic harbor, providing a social and boating venue for our members, their guests, and visiting yachts. It features outstanding dining, a pool facility, tennis courts, and access to the waterfront for a number of sailing related events and activities.

We are a proud host to many local, national, and international sailing events, with members competing locally and around the world, and bringing home some of yachting’s most prestigious awards. We are also a member of the International Council of Yacht Clubs, a world-wide yachting organization that includes some of the most prominent clubs from North America, Europe, Scandinavia, England, Asia, New Zealand, Australia and Africa.
