Since 1996, the Eastern has offered members' children a way to harness the wind and their skills through our Junior Sailing Program. The program's objective is to introduce our members' children between the ages of 5 and 9 to sailing in a safe, fun environment. The program facilitates this learning through one of five classes based on the child’s current skill level. No prior sailing experience is needed - so enroll your children today and provide them with an experience that will last them a lifetime.
Headquartered in the Junior Sailing Hut (the paddle tennis hut in winter time), with a "harbor station" by the causeway, our learn-to-sail activities serve members and their children in Optimist dinghies and Sonars.
