At the First General Meeting held January 17th, Vice Commodore, Frank Morse, presented the Eugene T. Connolly Trophy to Rear Commodore, Bruce Dyson.  Originally dedicated as a Shields Class trophy, the trophy was re-dedicated in 2008 and now recognizes sailing skills and sportsmanship.  Bruce was recognized for dinghy sailing; his sail making career; his racing the Tempest Class; his racing in the IOD Class and his efforts keeping the class active and strong in Marblehead; his racing in the PHRF Fleets; and in particular his construction of and racing the 8 meter yacht, Pleione.  Congratulations to Bruce on this well-deserved award.
