Join us on the Pleon pier at 6:00pm, Thursday, August 4th for the first in our Build, Design & Sail speaker series, featuring noted boat builder Cuyler Morris of Morris Yachts. Cuyler will be speaking about the resurgence of interest in daysailers and highlight some of the elegant and practical examples on the water today. In conjunction with Cuyler's presentation, we will be showcasing several notable examples of the genre with eight current models and past classics on the pier. Cuyler will be displaying one of his yard's own M-Series designs as well. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served to all in attendance up at the Clubhouse following the presentation, and both the Dining Room and the Porch will be open for dinner for those wishing to stay. This will be an enjoyable evening for anyone interested in keeping up to date with some of the trends in sailing, or for those who are contemplating trading in that big boat for something smaller and easier to manage.
