Parents and friends of the junior sailors are welcome down to our float at Riverhead for burgers, hotdogs, sailing, swimming, and games.  Friday, July 16th at 4:00pm on the Pleon dock for shuttling.  Party commences around 4:45pm.

EYC Junior Sailing has seven advanced Opti sailors who are participating in Marblehead Junior Race Week!  Visit our website to meet the Opti III class and read about their progress through the summer!

As a way of expanding the knowledge of our junior sailors, guest speakers from around the club have been scheduled to come to the Junior Sailing hut and cover topics such as safety on the water and sportsmanship.  Last week, waterfront director Mike Smith visited all five of our classes to discuss boating safety with the children.  He also shared stories from his experiences on the water.  This week, EYC Sailing Professional Greg Wilkinson will be out with the advanced junior sailors as they prepare for Marblehead Junior Race Week.  He will also be explaining the importance of sportsmanship.
