EYC sailors actively represent the club at local, regional, national and international team racing events.  During the summer, Thursday night is team racing night at the club with practices and the Harbor Challenge Series.  Team Race Thursday nights feature coaching and debriefings facilitated by EYC Sailing Director Greg Wilkinson. This is a great forum to learn the basics of team racing, one of the most exciting sailing formats. EYC actively seeks and regularly receives invitations to major team racing events such as the Lynn Cup, the Jackson Cup, the Hinman Masters and Hinman Championships.

Marblehead Team Race, BYO Vanguard 15

The first annual Marblehead Team Race will be sailed on June 19-20 in Vanguard 15s.  Please review the NOR and teams should register now by completing the on-line registration form.  Registration closes at Noon on Friday, June 18.  If you're interested in volunteering for the event, please contact Greg Wilkinson.

Harbor Challenge 2010

Harbor Challenge is open to all EYC members and features a weekly team race series in Sonars against Boston and Corinthian Yacht Clubs.  Racing is every Thursday evening, June 17 through August 26 (no racing during Marblehead Race Week) and begins with a team meeting on the Pleon dock at 5:30pm.  Sign up weekly by emailing Greg Wilkinson.  Immediately following racing, an informal debrief, complete with video footage and refreshments, is held for all participants in the Barker Room.
